We are excited to announce that Communities for Nutrition is now serving at tile one charter schools!
Many kids can't afford or have access to healthy foods so we decided to bring it to them. With people help like you we are able to help different types of communities come together to address one major problem that affects so many kids from low income neighborhoods, and that is Nutrition.
According to and an article posted in the journal for Nutrition and Neuroscience, when examining the role of nutrition on brain and behavioral development, there is a broader influence from environmental factors such as socio-economic status, health, socio-behavioral factors and motivation. For this reason we are not only teaching nutrition education, but we are providing the tools and the resources.
Every Friday during this school year we will be visiting various schools, delivering hot meals to students and teachers, as well as providing produce for them to take home. We can't do this alone. We need your help! If interested please feel free to reach out.
On behalf of all staff at One Outreach, I wish to thank Ronald McDonald House, Gillette Children’s Hospital, YouthLink, Hybrid Nation and Our Sponsors... for their support and contributions in One Outreach’s One Big Celebration 2018.
We would also like to thank Executive Chef Justin Sutherland and Executive Chef DeMarco Cavil for their amazingly prepared signature dishes. We truly tasted the history behind both of your impressing careers; Your generous donation will be remembered by all of those in attendance at One Big Celebration.
And special thank you to our guest performances by Ashley DuBose and Rayo Daniel. Your contributions were an essential addition for our festivities and truly enriched the experience for the kids and families in attendance.

Between opening a new restaurant in downtown Stillwater and spending time on the national stage (as a winner on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” and a contestant on the latest season of Bravo’s “Top Chef”), Chef Justin Sutherland has had a stellar year and a lot on his plate. And the momentum isn’t slowing anytime soon: He and a local hospitality group announced that Sutherland is taking over all eight of its St. Paul restaurants: Handsome Hog, Eagle Street, Fitzgerald’s, Public Kitchen, Green Lantern, OxCart, Ox Rooftop and Gray Duck.
“I loved learning all those tricks, how to make food pretty for live television,” Sutherland says now. “That food and TV mix, I learned a lot.” -Pioneer Press.

Everson Griffen is an American football defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He was selected in the fourth round and 100th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft after playing college football at USC.
We were honored to have him as an guest. He left an unmeasurable impression on all the kids. Encouraging them to keep fighting and he'd be with him all the way!
One Outreach: Hey Everson, do you want volunteer your time with the kids at the Children's Hospital on Christmas?
Everson: Yeah sure! Anything for the kids.
It was that simple. He's a great guy!
